Winter Wolf
11.14.2011
Christmas cram school has spun into full tilt freak out at ande cook studio. The next weeks are the hell weeks of every year. I will have having a Handmade Holiday out at Chickory in a few weeks and of course all my clients need their Christmas RIGHT NOW too. Forgive me if i neglect your blogs for a few days. I will miss you! xo
you too? This week will also include everyone who MEANT to order, but didn't, but really, really need something NOW. *sigh* I hope your Studio sale is a big success. I know you'll do your normal job of merchandising it perfectly and your customers will go away with more than they bought. I love this picture of the winter wolf. Brrrrrr.

Is that pink and turquoise snow? !?!?
ReplyDeleteI heart this! The trees, the sky color, the footprints in the snow, that yellow eyed confidence. But, inquiring minds want to know, will there be chicken ornaments?????
Good luck with the Crow medicine, sounds like Boxer needs some too.
xoxo
Amazing wolf! Man, I'd love to come to your open house. How come your neck of the woods is so far from my neck of the woods? Hope you have a great christmas season with lots of wonderful crafty sales.

WoW! Love the colors in this one!
ReplyDeleteEven when I remove my rose colored glasses....well.... on my screen, the falling snow flakes are white, slightly turquoise and slightly pinky... not just squeezed from the tube white.
ReplyDeleteColorful flakes or not ... I like the painting :-)
I like the painting. Edgar Allan Poe meets Rin Tin Tin. Inspired by your little hike the other day? Stay busy.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love the wolfie! So regal! Now you need to do a little fox and Diva will be pleased! haha! I just saw your video via google reader but not here...what gives? Very funny! I would never send a chicken back.....but he wouldn't be around long! Glad to see your feathered friends as inspiration and good luck, it's funny (your actress makes great facial expressions!) Have an industrious holiday season!

ReplyDeleteI am new to your blog, but a fan for awhile now of your creations. . . brilliant. . . the Wolf is mesmerizing.
ReplyDeleteAs for how time is at a deficit at this time of year. . . oh, how I wish I could get it through my thick head, that I must use July, August and September to gain some ground, when there are still a few pockets of creative time open on those lazy summer evenings. . . But no, we let it happen each and every holiday, a total frenzy of activity. . . Note to self: Try harder next summer to remember how Time begins moving at Warp 10 as of about October 1.
