dianne: there have been groups of them eating seeds this past week. hard to catch on film though. i was going to take the faded flowers out to make room for fall plants but i cant do that now that i know these guys are feeding on them.
fishy: yes!
boxer: so yellow of a beauty usually i dont see them till winter. once the bears go to sleep i can put out feeders again. im going to put in bluebird boxes for next spring.
aunty: really? i hate that i really want you to see it.
/t: me too! busy busy busy birds
faery: i know. you have to slow down and be still to see it.
Gold finches have been getting my attention a lot these days. I feed them in the back yard, they chirp and sing to me from the trees outside my second floor office and I see many of them on my walks with Miss D. I see them everywhere - and is there a more cheery sounding bird than a group of finches chattering away to each other ? xo S, Miss D and les Chats
