Hey.
ReplyDeleteSweatPea...
I may have come down hard on you, but... I actually do love ya. Just understand, I am a hard hard man and sometimes don't know my own strength. I feel just as weak as you, even iffin I'm not. Be well. Know I do pray for you. Crazy bird that you are and all. :p
no worries, Mate, it's just bloggin'. as the SparringK9, things were said to me that would make even a hard hard man's ears bleed. I appreciate the prayers, and am glad to see you here. Thanks for coming over. xo
Deletewow is very good
DeleteGreetings from blogger Indonesia
DeleteStarting a new bees-ness?
ReplyDeleteno just setting up safe harbor for pollinators in exchange for flowers and food. If Winter ever ends. Make it stop, Cat.
DeleteHello sweet girl, I really like your card design and how exciting to be getting bees.
ReplyDeleteIf only I had a love in my life a special man to send a card to, sadly I have no-one. :(
I keep reminding myself of a quote you once sent me, "It takes a good man to replace no man at all". I haven't found one yet.
Love and hugs
xoxoxo ♡
Thank you, Diane - Im excited, maybe a little apprehensive, about my first hive. Im 'in line' for my hive not sure I will get it - I will soon find out. I wish there was some wisdom or comfort to offer you in your search for someone to love and to be loved back - i would say that you are never really alone in nature but that's an easy platitude. At the very least, your search seems to be the fuel that fires your poetry and perhaps for now that is your love affair. xo
DeleteGood morning Ckickory,
ReplyDeleteSince LX beat me to it, I wont make a bee pun. You'll enjoy having Bees. They are a lot of fun to watch.
A couple of suggestions: read as much as you can about them, watch out for crack pots, and consider a Nuc. Local Bees from a healthy hive, may give you a better start. Avoid feeding with sugar water and don't be in a hurry for honey. Best of luck with it.
thank you, Karl! much appreciated. I was going to take a class at the college on beekeeping. Honey - not in a hurry for it Im about giving safe harbor and getting some pollinator work in. Ive got a lot of clover and my woods are FULL of sourwood. I dont think I will need sugar water. I will update you when spring gets closer - not too soon for my taste I am totally over winter now.
DeleteThere we go. Just testing here. For some reason all my comments disappeared into thin air yesterday. It was rather annoying. Anywho, I always love looking at your work. I still want to come see your dogs, your chickens, your bees .. Oh, and you, of course .. :-)
ReplyDeleteFoamy you come this year for real. You will like it, I promise a good time. xo
DeleteI'm liking your avatar, btw. Seems strangely familiar. There's this girl on fb I'm friends with that looks just like you. Odd that..
ReplyDeleteit doesnt look that much like me to be honest. its both better and worse than my reality. the older I get the worse the reality is. lol
DeleteMy ex Father-in-law was a beekeeper.
ReplyDeleteHe had a small hive, but he LOVED doing it!
I enjoyed seeing his set up, and of course, the fabulous orange blossom honey.
Good luck with your bees!

ReplyDeleteI got this card for The Mrs. yesterday, but the mail was so late because of the snow storm that it stayed out in the mailbox all night. I started to get worried that it wasn't coming. Then, I saw it bright and early this morning when I went out to shovel snow - again. The Mrs. was baffled by it until she saw it was from me...via you. She liked it. Thanks.
