On my blue ridge video? I had a feature on the town chickens and then a segment on the farm to table restaurant - i rearranged the video when I saw that squirrelly juxtaposition. ha!
foam: its the baby ducks that break my heart - those big ol bills and furry yellow bodies. feathers are like downy fur at this stage. so sweet. so eastery.

Actually I had a duckling as a kid in ms. It disappeared a few months later and my uncle told me he stuffed my pillow with the feathers.

Dianne: Easter never was a good layer. SHe is a pet. I only keep her alive because Boxer likes her. ;-) A rooster would protect the hens -but while they are at their city house - the neighbors might complain about a rooster crowing all day (and they will) and it could mean i cant have any hens. nobody really knows about them now.
Blazing: oh I love mallards! They are such sociable ducks. no roosters...I think i might have one - just watching his baby bad assery has me worried.
